Restoring smiles is our favorite. There is nothing more rewarding that seeing a patient smile after days, weeks– or sometimes years – in pain. We know it’s not easy to admit when something hurts, especially due to tooth decay. But trust us, we looooove what we do.
If Dr. Dassani sees you need a filling—don’t panic. She’s like the fairy godmother of comfortable injections. And, when the cavity is filled with a tooth-colored filling it’s like magic; her work is so good, it’s almost invisible.
Don’t get caught up in the funny names. Inlays and onlays are what Dr. Dassani uses for medium-sized cavities in the molars. Attached to the tooth (instead of built up from within the cavity) an inlay will cover the chewing surface of a molar, an onlay will cover more than one cusp.
If decay has reached the point where the health of the tooth root is compromised, Dr. Dassani will restore the tooth with a crown. The crown caps or covers the entire tooth surface.
Sometimes you just need a bigger crown (literally and figuratively). If you have decay below the gumline or are bothered by your ‘gummy’ smile—let the pros handle it. Dassani Dentistry offers crown lengthening in-house.
A dental bridge is just what you imagine. If you are missing a tooth or teeth, we build a bridge that fills the gap. The bridge connects to the adjacent teeth with a carefully constructed artificial tooth in-between. These days bridges can be removable or permanent; whatever works best for you.
There can be a lot of mixed feelings about wearing dentures. Some patients are self-conscious; some confident. No matter how you feel, just know you are not alone. You can join the club of 20 million Americans who are are denture-wearers. You are in good company.
Root canals have gotten a bad rap over the years, but these days, they are so routine they are more comparable to a filling. Dr. Dassani removes an infection from inside your tooth, sterilizes and fills the tooth, and tops it off with a beautiful crown restoration.

It is really, really hard to need consistent and extensive dental work. If you have struggled for a long time with your teeth it feels never-ending. And, you’re right—full mouth reconstruction does take time. But, in the hands of Dr. Dassani you can stop throwing good money after bad. She will lay out an action plan and partner with you to make sustainable, long term change. She can rebuild a smile that you will love.
